Chicken executives remain in control


All of the key leaders of the Chicken Farmers of Ontario marketing board retained their executive positions at the first meeting of directors following the board’s annual meeting.

Henry Zantingh remains chairman of the board, Murray Opsteen first vice-chairman and Tim Klompmaker second vice-chairman.

Murray Booy will represent the board as a director of the national agency, Chicken Farmers of Canada; Ed Benjamins is his alternate.

Henk Lise will be the board’s representative to the Canadian Broiler Council, Ed Verkley the representative to the Poultry Industry Council and Rick Kaptein, who took over the district directorship after John Maaskant retired, will also take his place as the board’s representative to Farm & Food Care Ontario.
