A needle has been found in potatoes bought in Halifax.
It’s a worrisome return of the tampering that began in 2014
with Prince Edward Island potatoes.
Nobody was injured in this case; the needle was discovered
in potatoes after they had been cooked.
A reward has been offered for information leading to an
arrest and hundreds of thousands of kilograms of spuds have been recalled.
