The Canadian Food
Inspection Agency has announced a huge ground-meat recall from a list
of stores that appear to be concentrated in the Toronto area.
Veal, beef and pork
are on the list because of potential contamination with E. Coli
0157:H7.
But the CFIA is not
revealing the supplier in its recall posting on its website.
It only lists the
stores such as Coppa’s, Gelati, Michagel Angelo’s, Foodland,
Masellis, Ghadir, The Apple, Marcelleria, Diana Grocery,
International and Grecos.
It says there have
been no reported illnesses associated with this recall.
