Fire destroys chicken barn

Fire destroyed a two-storey chicken barn near Elmira Thursday, a day before scheduled placement of chicks.

The empty barn is on the 3^rd Line of Woolwich Township, north-west of Elmira. The loss estimate is $250,000.
