The Ontario Association of Poultry Veterinarians is offering to double donations veterinarians make to food banks, up to a limit of $1,000.
This donations will flow through the Chicken Farmers of Ontario marketing board’s program CFO Cares: Farmers to Food Banks program.
“With the COVID-19 crisis, it is more important than ever that fresh poultry products are available to those in need through Ontario food banks,” said the executive team for the poultry veterinarians’ association said in a news release.
“We believe it is important to share some of what we help to produce with those who are most impacted by this crisis.”
