The plant-based foods company owned by Maple Leaf Foods Inc. has a deal with the Whole Foods grocery chain to be the exclusive supplier of unbreaded, plant-based products that mimic chicken.
Greenleaf Food’s Nightlife brand is a whole-muscle product made from pea protein. It will be in about 500 Whole Foods stores across Canada and the United States.
