John Barlow, an Alberta Member of Parliament for Foothills, is returning as the agriculture critic in the shadow cabinet unveiled by Opposition Leader Erin O’Toole.
Barlow was first elected in a bye-election in 2014 and subsequently won two more times.
Missing from O’Toole’s shadow cabinet are several MPs who either oppose vaccination mandates or who failed to support O’Toole policies.
Among them is Mark Strahl of Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon in British Columbia, the son of former federal agriculture minister Chuck Strahl. Strahl jr. opposes vaccine mandates.
