Belmont Meat Products Ltd. of North York is recalling Great Value brand Chicken Burgers because they contain egg which is not declared on the label. Some people are allergic to eggs.
The products being recalled are Great Value brand Chicken Burgers in the 904 g (8 individual patties of 113 g each) with a UPC code of 6 28915 82529 9. The "Best Before" dates on the labels are 2022 MA 01, 2022 MA 27, 2022 JL 06, 2022 JL 12, 2022 JL 17. They have been distributed across Canada.
The recall was triggered by CFIA test results. There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of this product.
Belmont is owned by Premium Brands of Vancouver.
