Soups, sauces under recall


 

 



A number of Kopi Thyme products are under recall because inspectors determined they contain a poisonous bacteria – Clostridium.

 

The products under recall are Ipoh Laksa curry noodle soup dated best before October, 2024; Kam Heong Golden Fragrance Stir Fry Sauce dated best before Dec. 29, 2024; Malaysian Style Aromatic Curry Paste dated best before Aug. 25, 2024; Nyonya Laska curry noodle soup best before Aug. 25, 2024; Creamy Prawn curry paste best before Nov. 22, 2024; and Sayur Lodeh Tumeric stew paste best before Nov. 22, 2024.


The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said there have been no reported illnesses associated with consumption of these products.


The products are made in Ontario by a business founded by two women who are part of Canada’s Malaysian community.
