Dr. Wade Wright of Ottawa has been chosen president of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.
It is the body that licences and regulates veterinarians.
He has been a member of the college since 2018 and of the executive committee since 2022.
The executive committee members are Dr. Jessica Retterath and Catherine Knipe, first and second vice-presidents, Dr. Alana Parisi, past president and Dr. Louise Kelly, member at large.
Joining the council are Dr. Kathleen Day Dunbar and Dr. Yashvir Varma.
Retiring from the council are Dr. Lorie Gold and Dr. Jessica Peatling.
