The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has suspended the licence of Cucina Fresca of Stoney Creek for failure to comply with food safety standards.
It said the company had multiple and repeated non-compliance problems.
The company advertises itself as organic, non-GMO and environmentally friendly sourcing its meats from local farms. It is run by two brothers who are butchers.
