Ritz staffer in charge of dirty tricks

Testimony during the robo-calls court case at Guelph identified a staffer in the office of Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz as the person in charge of "dirty tricks" during the last federal election.

Matt McBain works as a policy advisor for Ritz.

But McBain was not, the witnesses said, the author of the robo calls that directed voters to the wrong polling stations.

The trial of Michael Sona is nearing conclusion.
