O’Connor, Lee named to appeal tribunal

Ron O’Connor, former chairman of Chicken Farmers of Ontario and vice-chairman of the National Farm Products Council, has been appointed to a two-year term on the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Appeals Tribunal.
He lives in Wasaga Beach.

Holling Lee, who has retired from a career in municipal administration in the Chatham-Kent area has also been appointed for two years. He lives in Wallaceburg.

The tribunal is scheduled to hear a major chicken-industry appeal at the end of March. Large-volume chicken processors are complaining about some marketing board policies that impact their market shares.
