Another hog farm, the 62nd in Ontario since January,
has had an outbreak of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus.
The break was reported on Friday, a day after two outbreaks
in Huron County were posted on the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food
website on PED.
The ministry does not name the farms involved.
This latest outbreak is in a farrow-to-finish operation and
is the fourth outbreak in June after there were none in May.
