A vaccine to counter Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus is on
the market from Harrisvaccines of Ames, Iowa.
The company has a provisional licence to market the vaccine
directly to swine veterinarians and farmers.
It has not yet been approved for marketing in Canada, but
there are provisions for farmers to import drugs, medicines and vaccines for
their own use.
