Avian flu strikes again

Avian influenza has hit more turkey flocks in the United States.

A 27,000-bird flock is the first one hit in Iowa. Eight more have been hit in Minnesota, bringing that state’s total to 22 so far this year.

Swift County, Minnesota, had outbreaks on turkey farms with 154,000 and 160,000 birds.
