Five mink have COVID-19

Tests have revealed that five mink on a farm in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia are infected with COVID-19.

The farm is now under quarantine.

Eight workers' test results on Sunday revealed they were infected, prompting the testing of all the mink.

The provincial veterinarian said there is no risk to other Canadian mink farms from this outbreak since no mink have moved to other farms.
