Olymel recalling ham

Olymel is recalling about 6,804 pounds of ready-to-eat ham because inspectors in the United States identified some contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis.

The ham items were packaged on Nov. 5, 2020. The ham under recall was in 12-pound vacuum packs. They came from the Olymel plant at Trois Rivieres, Que.

Notice of the recall came from the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the United States Department of Agriculture.
