Petition launched to “kill supply management”

Glenn Black of Providence Bay, an outspoken critic of the chicken marketing boards, has launched a petition to “kill Canada’s supply management system”.

He is seeking supporters from every province and territory and has set a goal of 10,000 signatures.

He runs a blog, Canadiansmallflockers.blogspot.com , that has many articles highly critical of many aspects of supply management, including pricing dairy and poultry prices out of reach of low-income Canadians.
