Deere profits were down by 47.45 per cent to $1.24 billion for its third quarter.
Sales came in at $10.96 billion, down by 28.75 per cent.
In September, campaigning President Donald Trump warned Deere he would impose higher tariffs if the company moved some of its production to Mexico as planned.
Deere is now facing Trump’s announcement that a 25 per cent tariff on imports of steel and aluminum is coming.
