highest honour for achievement by a foreign expert who has made outstanding
contributions to China’s economic and social progress.
VanderZaag, who is a prominent member of the Christian
Farmers Federation of Ontario, has been an international aid worker as well as
an Ontario potato farmer.
China recently announced a goal to double potato production.
