Today the judge handling the pre-hearing into the case of sheep taken from the Montana Jones herd which was under scrapie quarantine adjourned the case to April 27.
And he ordered the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to hand over all the documents the defence lawyer for Jones and Michael Schmidt has been seeking.
If I were a betting man, I'd lay odds that with the revelation of all the materials the CFIA has been hiding, the Crown Attorney and/or the judge will stop the prosecution.
Will we ever know whether any of the sheep at Jones farm had scrapie? Probably not.
