Police are investigating a string of racist graffiti
marks spray painted over night across multiple locations in Woodstock,
The statue of Springbank Snow Countess was
erected in 1937 to honour her record milk production.
Police say racist comments and profanities were also
found on a church, a number of vehicles, garage doors, and the side of a house.
"The community is in general dismay," said acting
Sgt. Mike Beattie.
The black graffiti is believed to have caused an
estimated $2,000 in damage.
