Panama releases shipment for Agrium

Panama has released a shipload of phosphate rock from the Sahara so it can proceed to Agrium in Alberta.

The boatload was detained at the Panama Canal because there is a dispute over who owns the natural resources in the area where the rock phosphate was mined.

Another shipment to New Zealand was also detained.
