Aoun brand Tahini is on recall after Canadian Food Inspection Agency testing identified salmonella food-poisoning bacteria in a sample.
The product has been distributed in Ontario and Quebec, and possibly further afield, by Fattal International North America Inc.
The CFIA said it has had no reports of consumers falling ill.
