Longo’s recalling veal

Longo Brothers Fruit Markets Inc. is recalling its lean ground veal because the Canadian Food Inspection Agency detected E. coli 0157:H7, a potent food-poisoning bacteria.

The recall is for veal sold from Longo’s store at 5636 Glen Erin Drive, Mississauga.

The CFIA recall notice does not identify the meat-packing plant that sourced the veal.
