Testing by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has found food-poisoning Salmonella bacteria in salads produced by Taylor Farms of California.
The CFIA has no reports of people falling ill, but the company is recalling salads sold to retailers in Ontario and east.
The CFIA plan to inspect salads produced in California appears to be working to protect Canadians.
The recall follows other recent recalls for California-produced cucumbers and carrots.
