The final negotiations were with smaller-scale tomato
processors, he said.
The contract information will soon be posted on the
marketing board website.
Agriculture Minister Jeff Leal appointed Buchanan, a former
NDP agriculture minister and vice-chairman of the Ontario Farm Products
Marketing Commission, to run the board after he gave up on directors of the
marketing board.

processors who have complained they are hurting from stiff competition from the
U.S. where input costs are lower.
