Phoenicia Group Inc. is recalling Al-Rabih brand Halva / Halawa – with pistachios due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The recall comes as the result of follow-up testing by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency from a previous recall notice on June 25.
This product was distributed nationally.
The CFIA said it has had no reports of illnesses associated with this product.
