More African Swine Fever in China

African Swine Fever continues to spread in China despite measures to curb traffic among farms.

The newest case is a farm with nearly 20,000 pigs, the largest so far.

It’s one of many outbreaks in northeast Liaoning province in recent days and is raising concerns about the increasing threat to the country's $1.3-trillion pig industry.

There have also been 10 infected wild boars identified in Belgium, prompting concerns across Europe and North America where farmers are being urged to implement extreme cautions against disease.

That includes cautions about using imported feed ingredients.
