Meat Packers to soon get vaccines

Workers in meat-packing plants will soon be offered COVID-19 vaccination.

Cargill Inc. is getting a clinic at its plant at High River, Alta., where about 2,100 people work at Canada’s largest beet-packing plant. It was shut down for a while last year because of an outbreak of COVID-19.

Wellington-Dufferin Health Unit said it will soon have vaccination for the Cargill beef-plant workers in Guelph and London Health Unit said it is working on plans to vaccinate workers at the Cargill poultry plant there which has been closed for two weeks because of COVID-19.
