Temporary foreign worker dies in quarantine

Romario Morgan, 22, of St. Vincent has died while he was in quarantine, intending to be a temporary foreign worker on the Welsh Bros. farm near in Brant County.


Charles Welsh, of Welsh Bros. family farm in Scotland, Ont., said Thursday that everyone is in mourning.


"We don't know what happened," he said, adding that the farm is waiting to hear back from investigators and officials.


"Everyone is very devastated here. It's terrible."


Morgan's older sister, Roshina Jack, said he was vaccinated in early March before leaving for Canada.
