African Swine Fever hits Baltics

African Swine Fever, one of the deadliest diseases threatening hog farmers, has hit herds in Latvia and Lithuania.

Countries have moved swiftly to ban all hogs and pork from those countries.

The disease first showed up in Latvia, but this week one of the largest hog farms in nearby Lithuania had an outbreak.

The disease does not impact people.
