The country has relaxed its requirements for beef from the
United States, including no longer needing to identify beef that’s cut from
Canadian cattle.
This decision builds on the recent end to Country of Origin
Labeling requirements in the U.S. market, likely resulting in more Canadian
cattle heading to U.S. packing plants.
