The Canadian Farm Writers Federation honoured me with a Lifetime Achievement Award presented Saturday during the annual convention in Quebec City.

It was humbling to listen to the praise. God has truly blessed me.
One of the fun things was reading my acceptance speech. My nine-year-old grand-daughter, Laura Lee, asked me before we left for Quebec City if I had an acceptance speech, and when I said "not yet" she offered to write one.
She nailed it so I delivered it.
