The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reports that highly-pathogenic avian influenza has infected a commercial poultry facility in Middlesex Centre.
The CFIA will order the flock destroyed and will set up a five-kilometre quarantine zone which poultry-industry vehicles will need a permit to enter or leave.
