CFIA suspends Hannibal licence

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has suspended the licence of Hannibal Inc. of Montreal.

The agency said Hannibal failed to file a food safety plan that meets its standards.

It also suspended the licence of another Montreal company, Hanneux Inc., which imports fish and seafood products.

It also failed to  “prepare a compliant preventive control plan” that meets CFIA standards.
