Greg Stewart, who has been Mr. Corn for the Ontario Ministry
of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Grain Farmers of Ontario for nearly
17 years, has been hired by Maizex Seeds.
Stewart has organized many trials to determine and
demonstrate improved management practices and has more than 100 scientific and
other articles to his credit.
He is a graduate of the University of Guelph.
The Ontario Corn Producers Association, a predecessor of
Grain Farmers of Ontario, took on partial payment for his services when OMAFRA
cut its extension services budget.
