The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has taken control and
will euthanize the birds that have not already died.
The turkey farm is across the road from an infected flock
of chickens producing hatching eggs for the broiler industry.
That chicken farm, which has two barns, is under control of
the Canadian Food Inspection Agency which is euthanizing the birds that
survived the outbreak in one of the two barns. They are being composed inside the barns.
