Nine were cancelled in Ontario, 10 in Quebec, six in
Atlantic Canada and 14 in the four Western provinces. Twelve international
organic licences were cancelled.
Most of the cancellations reflect voluntary withdrawals.
In all cases, the CFIA is reporting on licence suspensions
or withdrawals by organic certifying organizations, such as Ecocert Canada and
the Centre for Systems Integration.
