Three named to Rabies committee

Christine Fehler-Gardiner of Toronto, Claire Jardine of Guelph and Dr. Hazel Lynn of Owen Sound have been appointed to three-year terms on the Ontario Rabies Advisory Committee.

Fehlner-Gardiner is a research scientist and head of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Centre of Expertise for Rabies.

Dr. Jardine is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathobiology at the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph, as well as the Regional Director of the Ontario/Nunavut region of the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative.


Dr. Lynn has been the Medical Officer of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit since 2003.
