Ontario chicken production target for spring is a modest volume of .77 per cent above base and for the nation a .5 per cent increase.
The goals were established during a meeting of the Chicken Farmers of Canada national supply management agency on Tuesday.
They are for the production period that runs from April 9 to June 3.
