The Ontario Pork Congress will celebrate its 50th anniversary with the first in-person event since 2019 and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last year it tried a virtual event, but president Kirk McLean said that “did not go well.”
He said people want to meet in person, so he’s optimistic this year will be a return to normal at the Stratford Rotary complex.
Joining McLean on the executive are vice presidents Kristy Perrin and Marsha Chambers, treasurer Frank Wood, secretary Joe Dwyer, directors Drew DeBruyn and Victoria Stewart and past president Henry Groenestege.
