Farms.com, famous for its online publications, has bought another print magazine business – Issues Ink of Winnipeg.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Issues Ink will
continue to operate much as it has within the Farms.com ownership.
Issues Ink publishes Germination,
Spud Smart, the Alberta
Seed Guide, European Seed and Seed
World.
Its Seed World Group division also includes Seed World Create, a
consulting unit providing marketing and communications services to the seed
industry, including virtual events for seed organizations.
Issues
Ink has operations in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Switzerland.
Another major print business Farms.com owns is Better
Farming in Ontario which publishes a weekly newspaper and a number of specialty
magazines, such a Better Pork.
