Ron Campbell of Elora has been appointed to a three-year term as chairman of the Grain Financial Protection Board.
The board collects fees, administers compensation funds and approves claims made against the funds.
The funds protect producers of grain corn, soybeans, wheat and canola in the event of defaults on payment by licensed buyers.
