Cover crop subsidies available in Grand River watershed

The Grand River Conservation Authority is offering cover crop subsidies to a maximum of $1,000 to $3,000, depending on municipality.

The aim is to have cover crops to protect soil erosion over winter.

The subsidies are part of the conservation authority’s water quality program which includes projects such as manure storage and tree planting.
