Province announces $7.47 million for water quality

The province has announced it will provide $7.47 milllion for projects to improve water quality in the Great Lakes.

Sixty-five projects will get $5.8 million to address issues such as phosphorous levels and invasive species.

There is $1.67 million for the Great Lakes Local Action Fund for local projects led by community-based organizations, small businesses, municipalities, conservation authorities and Indigenous communities to protect and restore coastal, shoreline and nearshore areas of the Great Lakes and the rivers and streams that flow into them.

Any guesses about how many times they will announce the same funding?
