Four appointed to animal welfare appeal body

The province has appointed four people to two-year terms as vice-chairs on the body that hears appeals from animal welfare orders by provincial inspectors.

They are Alisa Chaplick of North York, Peter Simmons of Hamilton, Anxhela (Angela) Peco of Toronto and Ashley Deathe of Ottawa.

Chaplick’s appointment is an extension of her previous appointment. 

She and two of the others are lawyers. Simmons is a business administrator.
