Another HPAI case in York Region

There has been another flock in York Region infected with highly-pathogenic avian influenza.

That brings the total for Ontario to 23.


Alberta has had a surge of cases in the past week and now has had a total of 23.


The Canadian total is now 68, and 1,740,500 birds have been lost. Alberta has lost the most: 900,000. Ontatio has lost 425,000.


Only four premises have been released from quarantine after experiencing an outbreak.
