Jeff Barlow of Hannon has been appointed to a three-year term as vice-chairman of the Grain Financial Protection Plan.
He is a sixth-generation farmer at Binbrook, near Hamilton, and is a director of Grain Farmers of Ontario.
Barlow Farms has been growing cash crops since 1843.
